Should one who is late in marrying have a good opinion of God that He will grant her a husband, or merely that He will content her, given the possibility that she may not marry due to divine wisdom, thereby leading to her disappointment?

"Good expectation of Allah requires certainty that Allah's choice and management for His servant are better than the servant's choice for himself. Not everything a person desires contains good. Allah Almighty said: "And it may be that you dislike a thing while it is good for you, and it may be that you love a thing while it is evil for you. And Allah knows while you know not." (Quran 2:216) Therefore, good expectation of Allah cannot be complete until one entrusts all matters to Him, including marriage and other affairs, along with supplicating and taking the necessary means, and trusting that Allah's choice is the best, whether in the completion of marriage, its delay, or its non-occurrence. Reliance upon Allah is proportional to having good expectation of Him and hoping in Him, for good expectation leads to reliance upon Him. And entrustment is the spirit and reality of reliance, which is willingly entrusting all matters to Allah, like a child who entrusts his affairs to his father, knowing that his father's management is better for him."
