What is the ruling on dedicating the reward of pictures with dhikr (remembrance of God) on them, or social media accounts, to a deceased person with the intention of an endowment for them?

It is permissible to dedicate the reward of posts and accounts to a deceased Muslim. This is considered spreading goodness, and the one who does it will be rewarded if their intention is sincere for Allah and they seek what is correct and beneficial. This is not contingent on writing a dedication; rather, what matters is the intention of the one who places the posts. Any act of worship performed by a Muslim, the reward of which is dedicated to a living or deceased Muslim, is permissible and beneficial to them. Mutual urging to spread this is considered mutual urging to do good, and the spreader will receive the reward of one who guides to good, as stated in the Hadith: "Whoever guides to good will have a reward similar to that of its doer." As for images, it is permissible to use images of dhikr, mosques, or trees as a background. If they are of living beings, their ruling refers to the specific fatwas concerning them.
