Abandoning marriage is permissible, except for one who fears falling into sin, in which case it becomes obligatory for him. If you do not fear falling into sin, then there is no sin upon you for abandoning marriage, but marriage is highly recommended. A mother's devotion does not necessitate abstaining from marriage; rather, both can be combined. If you do not have desire and fear being unable to fulfill a wife's rights, then marriage is not recommended for you; rather, remaining unattached is better.
