What is the solution for immunization against envy before my sister's engagement?

Ibn Al-Qayyim mentioned ten reasons for protection from envy: seeking refuge in and resorting to Allah, piety (taqwa) towards Allah, patience with the envious person, reliance upon Allah, emptying the heart from preoccupation with the envious person, turning towards Allah and being sincere to Him, repentance from sins, charity and benevolence, extinguishing the evil of the envious person by being good to him, and finally, purifying monotheism (tawhid) and knowing that everything is in Allah's hands.
