The girl's duty is sincere repentance by abandoning the sin, regretting it, and resolving not to return to it, avoiding the causes of disobedience, increasing remembrance of Allah and seeking His forgiveness, and ceasing to be preoccupied with this young man, focusing instead on achieving repentance and turning to Allah. Sincere repentance brings goodness and tranquility.
