What should a husband do who saw his wife looking admiringly at a foreign man, and then she swore by Allah that she did not do that, despite the repeated occurrence of the situation, and he is unable to live with her due to the trauma from the situation?

A husband must think well of his wife and not think ill of her unless there is evidence, as Allah says: ﴿O you who have believed, avoid much [negative] assumption. Indeed, some assumption is sin.﴾ [Qur’an 49:12]. Jealousy is blameworthy unless there is a cause for suspicion. Believing one's wife is required if her truthfulness is preponderant. However, if the act is repeated and her untruthfulness becomes preponderant, then do not believe her. If it is proven that the wife is afflicted with looking at men, he is not obligated to divorce her. Rather, he should strive to educate her ایمانیاً (faithfully) and explain the شرعی (Islamic legal) ruling to her.
