What is the ruling on seeking assistance from a "tiqaf" in which Quranic verses are written to recover something stolen or lost?

"Al-Taqaf" is an act of magic originating from sorcerers. Even if no paper is placed in the grave, it is still deception and charlatanry, and jinn may assist in it. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, incantations, amulets, and philters are polytheism." Seeking help from Allah alone is the solution, along with taking practical measures such as informing the police and making supplication, as Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) did.
