The answer

The suitor is a stranger to his fiancée as long as the marriage contract has not been concluded. Therefore, it is impermissible for him to be alone with her, or to touch her, or to speak with her using words of love and flirtation. However, if a servant repents with a sincere repentance, Allah will accept his repentance. Repentance involves abandoning the sin, regretting it, and resolving not to return to it. Repentance erases what came before it, and the one who repents from a sin is like one who has no sin.
