Is it possible to object to the demand of the sons of the father's widow for her share of the house he left behind, on the grounds that her waiver of the land on which the house is built implies her waiver of her share in the house, or that her share in the house is exaggerated and involves egregious injustice?

Dispute cases are referred to the courts for resolution. If a settlement is reached before the court, it is not permissible to revoke it if the person who waived their right was an adult, of sound mind, and not deceived, for what has fallen cannot be recovered. Among the ways to show filial piety to a father after his death is to treat his wife kindly and maintain good relations with her, for the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The most dutiful of deeds is for a man to maintain good relations with the loved ones of his father after his passing."
