What is the ruling of Islamic law regarding a sister who has been prophesying things that often come true since 1995, and is asked for predictions or guidance in some cases, or for Istikhara, knowing that she does not earn money from this?

Uncoverings may originate from anyone, and what matters is the alignment of the person's state with the Quran and Sunnah. Whoever's state aligns with the Quran and Sunnah is righteous, and whoever's state does not align is not righteous. One should not be deceived by someone who claims to walk on water or fly in the air until their matter is presented to the Quran and Sunnah.

Caution must be exercised against being carried away by such uncoverings because they lead to fortune-telling and divination. Allah has exclusively reserved knowledge of the unseen for Himself, and preoccupation with knowing it leads to apostasy, as Allah Almighty says: "Say, 'None in the heavens and earth knows the unseen except Allah'" [An-Naml: 65], and "And with Him are the keys of the unseen; none knows them except Him" [Al-An'am: 59].

Therefore, repentance from this path is necessary, and the sister must be protected from falling into perdition.
