If the husband says to his wife: "You are divorced two times," only one divorce occurs. If this was the first divorce, and the رجعة (revocation) occurred during the iddah (waiting period), which ends after three menstrual cycles for a menstruating woman, or three months for a post-menopausal or young woman, then you are not permitted to refuse it. Therefore, you must sever the relationship with the young man and return to your husband if the revocation occurred during the iddah. If you are harmed thereafter, you have the right to request a divorce to remove the harm.
