Is raising one's voice with supplication and weeping during the night vigil (qiyam al-layl) and after prayer considered an excess in supplication ( الاعتداء في الدعاء)?

Crying in prayer out of fear of Allah is a great blessing. If the voice is raised with it, there is no harm, as long as it is not forced. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and the Companions, such as Umar, Abu Bakr, and Aishah, may Allah be pleased with them, cried during prayer, and their crying was heard. This does not invalidate the prayer; rather, it is part of its humility. It is preferable for supplication to be in a low voice, but if a person is overcome and raises their voice with crying or supplication, there is no harm. Rather, humility is praiseworthy, and hardness of heart is blameworthy.
