How can one get rid of the trait of envy that afflicts a person when others excel over them in studies, despite loving their friends, wishing them well, and adhering to their religion?

The divergence among humans is divided into blameworthy and praiseworthy: Whoever conceals his jealousy and it does not lead him to injustice, there is no blame upon him, and he is praised if it motivates him to praiseworthy competition and doing good. As for whoever is driven by his jealousy to wrong others, hate them, and disparage them, he is sinful; because it is forbidden envy.
