What is the ruling on the fast of one who feels a small hair descend from the back of the throat?

If you feel a hair in your throat and try to avoid swallowing it, but it goes down into your stomach unintentionally, your fast is valid, and you do not need to make up for it. However, one must be careful not to fall into excessive scrupulousness (waswasa).
