Is it better for women to pray in congregation or individually, given that Islamic law has permitted them to pray in their homes?

It is preferable for women who pray at home to pray in congregation to attain its virtue, due to the generality of the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Prayer in congregation is twenty-five degrees superior to prayer performed individually," and in another narration: "twenty-seven degrees." This is further indicated by the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) command to Umm Waraqa to lead the prayers for the people of her household, which demonstrates the legitimacy of independent congregational prayer for women in their homes.
