What is the ruling on giving false ratings to videos, and does sin befall the one who views them?

Giving false ratings (likes/dislikes) to videos is a prohibited form of lying and deception. The one who does it bears the sin of everyone they deceived with that rating. The matter becomes worse if the video is prohibited and they rated it with a like. One must repent from this lying and deception, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Beware of lying, for lying leads to immorality, and immorality leads to the Hellfire," and "Whoever cheats is not one of us."
