How is the meaning of the Qudsi hadith — 'I become his hearing with which he hears, his sight with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes, and his foot with which he walks' — explained?

If a believer strives to draw closer to Allah through obligatory acts and then supererogatory ones, Allah elevates him from faith (Iman) to spiritual excellence (Ihsan). His heart then becomes filled with the knowledge, love, and glorification of Allah, and his attachment to anything other than Allah diminishes. At this point, he speaks of nothing but Allah and moves only by His command. Allah then guides him in his hearing, sight, strength, and movement, so he hears, sees, and does nothing but what pleases Allah. This does not mean that Allah becomes his hearing or sight, but rather that Allah guides and directs him in these actions. Allah answers his supplications, helps him, and grants him refuge when he asks Him, seeks His help, or seeks His refuge.
