Is it permissible to perform a surgical operation for the purpose of not conceiving (permanent sterilization) if raising children with a proper Islamic upbringing is impossible in the country of residence and it is difficult to move to another country?

It is not permissible to permanently cease procreation unless a reliable medical report confirms that pregnancy poses an imminent danger to the mother's life, her condition cannot be treated, and contraception becomes the only means to avert the danger.

As for temporary contraception, it is permissible out of need and for benefit, according to Islamic guidelines.

Therefore, it is not permissible to undergo a permanent sterilization procedure, and the reasons mentioned are not an excuse to prevent procreation. Indeed, Allah is the Guide, and you must exert efforts, for Allah, the Almighty, changes circumstances.
