Is what was mentioned about the weakness of the Hadith regarding Ya’juj and Ma’juj’s digging of the dam due to the disconnect between Qatadah and Abu Rafi’ correct, and how do we reconcile this statement with Al-Albani’s and Al-Tirmidhi’s authentication of the Hadith and Al-Bukhari’s narration of it with Qatadah’s chain of transmission from Abu Rafi’?

The narration describing Gog and Magog digging the dam daily until they emerge is weak due to a break in its chain of transmission, as it is highly probable that Qatadah did not hear from Abu Rafi'. Furthermore, the text of the hadith is objectionable due to its contradiction with the apparent meaning of the Quranic verses which indicate that the dam is impenetrable. Some scholars have pointed out that this narration might have been taken from Ka'b al-Ahbar and not attributed to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
