Is it permissible for a man to marry the daughter of his divorced wife from her second husband, after divorcing her consummatedly?

It is not permissible to marry the daughter of a divorced woman with whom one has consummated the marriage, whether she was her daughter before or after marrying her. This is because the daughters of wives become forbidden upon consummation with their mothers, as Allah the Almighty says: ﴿And the stepdaughters in your guardianship, born of your women to whom you have gone in﴾ [An-Nisa: 23]. The phrase "in your guardianship" (في حجوركم) is mentioned in the context of what is generally the case, so it has no specific implication, and the prohibition applies equally whether she was raised under one's guardianship or not.
