What is the ruling on saying to a Muslim: "May God curse your devil"?

The statement in question falls under the ruling of cursing Satan. What is prescribed is to seek refuge from him, not to curse him. For cursing him has been forbidden, even though he is legally cursed, because if he is cursed, he becomes conceited within himself.
