Has the era of the righteous saints come to an end?

Prophets concluded with Muhammad, peace be upon him, and the religion was perfected with Islam. As for the Friends of Allah (Awliya Allah), they are not restricted to a specific time; they are every pious believer present in every era. The goodness in this Ummah does not cease. The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: "The similitude of my Ummah is like rain; it is not known whether its beginning is better or its end." The best of this Ummah's goodness is found in the generations of the Companions, the Tabi'un (successors), and their followers. The best of the Awliya are the ten who were given glad tidings of Paradise, the people of Badr, the people of Bay'at al-Ridwan (Pledge of Allegiance under the Tree), and then the generality of the Companions.
