What is the ruling on a Sunni officer working in Bashar's army who was killed by bullets while on duty, knowing that he did not harm anyone, could not defect for fear for his family, and was in his heart against Bashar and with the Free Army?

The ruling on this person before Allah is unknown, and we ask Allah for mercy and forgiveness for him and all deceased Muslims. If his situation is as described, then it is hoped that he will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment according to his intention. It has been narrated in the Hadith that the army invading the Kaaba will be swallowed by the earth, from the first to the last of them, then they will be resurrected according to their intentions.
