Allah created humans in this world for trial and testing. Among these trials is the temptation people pose to one another, and the temptation a woman faces regarding her husband. A husband's right to marry another woman is not considered an injustice; rather, it is a trial from Allah to gauge the wife's patience and piety. A woman's patience in the face of temptation purifies her from sins and strengthens her faith. It is not permissible for her to seek a divorce merely because her husband married another woman, unless she fears she will not be able to fulfill his rights. She must fear Allah, cast away the whispers of Satan, and maintain a good relationship with her husband, for he is her paradise or her hell, and obedience to her husband is a cause for entering Paradise.
