Does contentment with God's decree contradict wishing for the restoration of a lost blessing?

Supplicating to Allah and asking Him for another blessing does not contradict contentment with Allah's decree, for Allah loves to be asked for the good of this world and the Hereafter. Likewise, a Muslim must be diligent in earning money through lawful means and spending it lawfully, and should beware of causes that lead to the deprivation of blessings.
