Is it permissible to supplicate with "My Lord, grant me a kingdom that will not befit anyone after me"?

The supplication mentioned is considered an act of transgression (اعتداء) in supplication, which is forbidden. This is based on Allah's saying: ﴿Call upon your Lord humbly and privately; indeed, He does not like transgressors.﴾ And the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, condemned transgression in supplication. Scholars have stated that asking for the impossible is an act of transgression in supplication. And asking for the subjugation of jinn is something Allah اختصاص (exclusively granted) to His Prophet Solomon, peace be upon him, as He said: ﴿He said, "My Lord, forgive me and grant me a kingdom such as will not belong to anyone after me; indeed, You are the Bestower."﴾ And the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, refrained from tying up the devil because of Solomon's supplication.
