Is it considered a sin not to wish to meet or sit with someone who has wronged me, even after forgiving them for the sake of Allah, and feeling aversion towards them?

Forgiving an offender is religiously desirable, and there is no sin in not liking to sit with him or meet him. However, it is not permissible to shun him for more than three nights unless harm is feared from associating with him. Extending greetings (Salam) is sufficient to lift the shunning. Spreading greetings, shaking hands, and exchanging gifts are all causes for love and for removing rancor.
