Is it permissible for me to rely on the fatwa concerning the purity of the earth and what is connected to it merely by its drying, without searching for the removal of the substance of the impurity or its color?

The majority opinion is that the earth and what is connected to it cannot be purified except with water, contrary to the Hanafis who consider the earth pure through dryness, but on condition that any trace of impurity, such as taste, color, or smell, has disappeared. It is permissible to follow the Hanafi school in this matter, while ensuring that the trace of impurity has completely vanished.
