What is the ruling on eating yogurt and dairy products that contain gelatin of undisclosed origin, and is everything that contains gelatin forbidden to eat?

Gelatin is forbidden if it is prepared from something prohibited, such as pork, because it falls under the prohibition of pork mentioned in the Quran. However, if it contains nothing from forbidden sources, then there is no objection to it. For rulings on gelatin of unknown origin, please refer to Fatwa No. 70530.
