Will the deceased sister be held accountable for the prayers she missed during her mental illness, and must her family make up for the Ramadan fasts she missed, and does the hadith "Whoever’s last words are ‘There is no god but Allah’ will enter Paradise" give her glad tidings of Paradise, and what is the reward for her parents for their patience over her death?

We ask Allah for mercy upon the deceased and patience for her family. If she abandoned prayer due to loss of consciousness, there is no sin upon her and no make-up is required, as the pen is lifted from her. Her utterance of the Shahada at the time of death is a sign of a good end. Fasting is not made up for her if she was unable to make it up or if the next Ramadan had not yet arrived. However, if she was able to make it up and did not do so until the next Ramadan came, then it is permissible for it to be made up on her behalf. It is permissible to give charity on her behalf, supplicate for her, and perform Hajj on her behalf. Regarding your shouting at her, if you asked for her forgiveness and she forgave you, we hope that Allah will pardon you. Increase your acts of seeking forgiveness and performing righteous deeds.
