Emotional relationships and flirtatious talk between the sexes are forbidden, even if the talk is devoid of flirtation. The only solution for those in love is marriage. If marriage is not possible, they must cut off the relationship and busy themselves with what benefits them. They must also repent to Allah for engaging in such relationships.
