What is the ruling on compensating those harmed by a worker's absence from work during working hours by donating to a charity instead of compensating the employer, knowing that the employer was aware of some of the absences?

The employer's awareness of what transpired indicates his waiver and relinquishment of his right, and therefore, she is not obligated to compensate the disabled individuals. However, if she wishes to absolve herself as a precautionary measure, she may give charity to these disabled individuals, seeking nearness to Allah and repentance to Him. And Allah knows best.
