Is what is mentioned the reason for rising prices and the succession of the unqualified to power, and why do irreligious European and Western countries live in prosperity?
God's way of dealing with Muslims differs from His way of dealing with disbelievers. If a Muslim errs, punishment is expedited for him in this world, unlike the disbeliever whose good deeds are expedited for him in this world so that he comes to the Afterlife with no good deeds. This is based on the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saying: "If Allah intends good for His servant, He expedites the punishment for him in this world. And if Allah intends evil for His servant, He withholds from him his sin until he fully meets it on the Day of Resurrection." And his saying: "Indeed, Allah does not wrong a believer concerning a good deed; he is given for it in this world and rewarded for it in the Hereafter. As for the disbeliever, he is fed with the good deeds he did for Allah in this world, until when he reaches the Hereafter, he has no good deed for which to be rewarded."
