Is it permissible to purchase an apartment for half the price in cash and the other half in installments through the bank?

Installment purchases are permissible if they adhere to Sharia guidelines. If the sale is valid and the seller wishes for payment through an interest-based bank as a means of receiving the price, there is no objection to the buyer depositing the monthly installment into the seller's account at the bank, provided there is no other means available. However, if the bank is the one paying on behalf of the buyer through an interest-based loan, this is Islamically forbidden, and such a transaction is impermissible as it involves borrowing with usury. Obedience to the husband in this disobedience is not permissible.
