Is it permissible to purchase another apartment in installments through an Islamic bank, prior to selling the first apartment, in order to avoid embarrassment?

If the bank owns the apartment and then sells it to you in installments without stipulating a late fee, there is no harm in you purchasing it from them. Your immediate lack of need for the apartment does not affect the ruling.
