Must I make up the days I missed in Ramadan due to bleeding caused by a uterine cyst?

The basic principle is that what a woman sees is menstrual blood, especially during her usual days. If it exceeds the maximum period of menstruation (15 days), she should refer to her previous habit. If a trustworthy doctor confirms that the bleeding is due to an illness and not menstrual blood, then she must make up the prayers and fasts she missed during its discharge. She does not owe expiation for breaking her fast in Ramadan, nor is there any sin upon her.
