Is a divorce pronounced by a husband valid when he was angry after his wife told him "tuz" (an Arabic interjection of contempt) in response to his threat of divorce?

Divorce occurs with an explicit pronouncement, even if the husband did not intend it. Anger does not prevent its occurrence as long as the husband's mind has not completely ceased to function. Therefore, the two divorces have occurred. If the husband does not take his wife back before the expiry of her iddah (waiting period), then she becomes irrevocably separated from him.
