Divorce occurs with an explicit pronouncement, even if the husband did not intend it. Anger does not prevent its occurrence as long as the husband's mind has not completely ceased to function. Therefore, the two divorces have occurred. If the husband does not take his wife back before the expiry of her (waiting period), then she becomes irrevocably separated from him. The husband's repeated threats of divorce and the wife's response to them contradict living together in kindness.
