Must a suitor inform his fiancée that he has one testicle or is missing both, and does the eunuch's desire for women differ from others?

Losing one testicle is not a defect that invalidates marriage, nor does it necessitate disclosure, so long as the man is capable of intercourse. This differs from losing both testicles, which is a defect that must be disclosed, and the dissolution of the marriage in such a case is detailed by jurists. The jurists have stipulated that a castrated man (al-khasī) desires women, and it is forbidden for him to be in seclusion with them, or for a woman to look at him as she would at a fertile man. Imam Ahmad considered it a grave matter for eunuchs to be brought before women.
