Will the sister who pointed to a religious forum containing beneficial da'wah (Islamic propagation) topics be rewarded, even if she did not intend it? Is it permissible to include others in the reward for writing religious topics and books, and will the reward reach them? Will a person be rewarded if their motive for worship, such as reading the Quran and writing religious topics, is the love of worship and benefit, and not solely the seeking of reward?

Whoever guides to good, whether knowledge or action, will have a reward similar to that of the doer. This includes one who causes good without intending the result, because he initiated the cause. An example of this is the Almighty's saying: "And We record what they have put forth and what they left behind." This is also indicated by the Hadith: "Whoever introduces a good sunnah in Islam will have its reward and the reward of whoever acts upon it after him." It is permissible to include others in the reward of acts of worship, whether wholly or partially.
