What should I do concerning my father, who intensely dislikes my aunt and refuses to speak to me because I prevented my aunt from entering our house, while my mother is suffering from this situation?

We advise the questioner to be dutiful to his father and to bear his annoyance, to approach him with a different demeanor, and to be gentle in his speech, because informing him of doubts about his religion and prayers is not from the noble speech that Allah has commanded. The Holy Quranic verses and Prophetic traditions have urged kindness to parents, especially in their old age. The father has the right to prevent anyone he does not desire from entering his home, especially if the woman is loud and lies. The questioner should rectify her own affairs and those of her family.
