Does the state of being afflicted with anxiety and depression, and the fear of illness and death, necessitate medication, or is what has befallen me from Satan?

A believer cannot do without their Lord, for death is a truth decreed upon every soul. Fear should not deter one from obedience, but rather drive them towards it. Fear can lead to worry and sorrow, and its cause may be a lack of contentment with God's decree. Psychological illnesses can affect organs, as seen in cases of anxiety that increase adrenaline secretion. The cure lies in faith, piety, and legitimate remembrances (adhkar), such as the prophetic supplications: "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and sorrow," and "O Allah, I am Your slave, the son of Your slave...", and the supplication of Dhul-Nun: "There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers."
