What is the ruling on finding hair in food, and does seeing it indicate coming happiness?

No one is permitted to claim knowledge of the unseen, as this contradicts what is stated in the Holy Quran, such as His (Allah's) saying: "And never would Allah apprise you of the unseen," and His saying: "Say, 'None in the heavens and earth knows the unseen except Allah.'" Therefore, what people say, that seeing hair before eating is a sign of happiness, is mere superstition, and experience does not fall under knowledge of the unseen. It could be a means for Satan to mislead the weak-minded. Thus, one must steer clear of such superstitious thinking and occupy oneself with what benefits in this world and the Hereafter.
