What is meant by "al-Qala'id" in the Holy Qur'an, and does it include men's chains devoid of adornment, and what is their legal ruling?

The term "Qala'id" (garlands/collars) in the verse from Surat Al-Ma'idah refers to anything hung around the humps of sacrificial animals (hady) as a distinguishing mark, as stated in the Ahadith of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): "I twisted with my own hands the garlands for the Prophet's sacrificial animals. Then he marked them and garlanded them, and sent them to the Kaaba." This does not include chains that men wear on their hands.
