Is it permissible for a woman to uncover her face before men in a Quranic competition if she wishes to participate, or is it better not to participate?

Scholars differ regarding a woman's uncovering of her face and hands in front of non-mahram men. The fatwa (religious edict) adopted by us is that it is obligatory to cover them. It is not permissible for a woman to uncover herself in front of non-mahram men, neither in a Quranic competition nor in any other situation, except out of necessity or need. She can participate in competitions without uncovering her face or from behind a veil.
