The Prophet (peace be upon him) encouraged marriage and forbade abandoning it, saying: "Marriage is my , and whoever does not follow my Sunnah is not of me." It was not known that the Companions abandoned marriage for the sake of seeking or spreading knowledge; rather, all of them married, including the great scholars and leaders. So, whoever combines seeking knowledge and marriage has combined the two good things and emulated the imams of the religion.
