Is a father entitled to reconcile with the mother after their divorce, despite her refusal to return to him and her desire for Khulʿ, and is the mother sinful for refusing intimacy due to her hatred for her husband?

A husband must treat his wife with kindness, and it is not permissible for him to falsely accuse her. A wife must obey her husband in bed, and it is not permissible for her to refuse him simply out of dislike. If a husband divorces his wife with a revocable divorce, he may take her back during her 'iddah (waiting period) without her consent and without a new contract. If the 'iddah ends, he may not take her back except with her consent and a new contract. According to the majority of jurists, a revocable divorcee's khul' (divorce at the wife's instance) is valid. A wife has the right to seek divorce if she is harmed by continuing to live with her husband, and she has the right to expel her husband from her house if it is her property. If the wife has become irrevocably divorced, it is not permissible for her to cohabit with her ex-husband in the same house unless it is a separate part with its own facilities. Efforts should be made to reconcile between the spouses.
