Is it permissible to pass a disabled tenth-grade student who cannot read or write, given that if she fails, she will be automatically passed the following year, and that her father wishes for her to pass this year so he can place her in a private school? Passing someone who cannot read or write in the tenth grade is considered leniency, falsehood, and forgery, and it must be avoided, as Allah Almighty says: "So avoid the impurity of idols and avoid false statement." The school and the father must cooperate to teach the girl reading, writing, and the basics of sciences. If she is not suitable for studying, then it is better to find a righteous husband for her and a job that does not require an academic certificate, or to enroll her in a private school through legitimate means without falsehood or forgery.
