Is what was attributed to Imam Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) concerning the most hopeful verse in the Book of Allah, that it is "And establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at the approach of night. Indeed, good deeds do away with evil deeds," and the Hadith of the Prophet (peace be be upon him) concerning the virtue of the five daily prayers as a bath in a flowing river, considered a Hadith, and what is its degree of authenticity?

The aforementioned Hadith (definition) with this wording is not found in the books of Sunnah (definition). It appears to be a composite of several authentic Ahadith.

The comparison of the five daily prayers to a flowing river is mentioned in the two Sahih (definition) collections (Bukhari and Muslim), and the shedding of sins with the water of ablution is found in Sahih Muslim.

As for the Hadith stating that the most hopeful verse is verse 114 of Surat Hud, we have not found it.

We also draw attention to the fact that applying the titles "Imam" and "May Allah honor his face" to Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) exclusively, to the exclusion of other Rightly Guided Caliphs, has become a slogan of the people of innovation. Therefore, a Muslim should avoid this and instead say "May Allah be pleased with him," because Allah's pleasure is greater than honoring.
