What is the ruling on one who is accustomed to eating with their left hand?

One who eats and drinks with their left hand should be informed of the religious ruling and reminded of the Prophet's ﷺ hadith in which he ﷺ supplicated against a man who ate with his left hand, and he was unable to raise it to his mouth, because Satan eats and drinks with his left hand, and whoever eats with his left hand imitates him. Also, the left hand is used for removing impurities, and the Prophet ﷺ used his right hand for his food, drink, and clothing, and his left hand for everything else. It is recommended to use the right hand for all matters of honor and veneration, and the left hand for everything else, unless there is a valid excuse preventing the use of the right hand, such as illness or surgery, in which case there is no blame.
