The book "Al-Kafi" by Muhammad ibn Ya'qub al-Kulayni (d. 328 AH) is one of the primary references for the Shi'a. It contains three sections: Usul (principles), Furu' (branches), and Rawdah (garden). The book includes what is described as disbelief (kufr) and heresy (zandaqah). Examples of this include the belief that the Imams know when they will die and die by their own choice, that they know the unseen (what was and what will be), that the entire earth belongs to the Imam, and that this world and the hereafter belong to him, to place as he wills. It also states that visiting the grave of Al-Husayn is equivalent to twenty Hajj pilgrimages and is better than twenty Umrah pilgrimages and Hajj.
